For example, our results show that dairy products and meat are beneficial for heart health and longevity. This differs from current dietary advice’…‘People who consumed a diet emphasising fruit, vegetables, nuts, legumes, fish, dairy products, and meat had the lowest risks of cardiovascular disease and early death,’ said co-principal investigator Dr Andrew Mente, of the PHRI. ‘Regarding meat, we found that unprocessed meat is associated with benefit’…The results suggest that we should limit the amount of refined carbohydrates we eat and that dairy foods and unprocessed meat can be included as part of a healthy diet.”

While the Bible warns against riotous eating of flesh (associated with drunkenness, gluttony, etc.), it does not warn against the eating of clean meats - even red meat. It is indeed foolish to eat most "fast food" and processed meats and dairy filled with nitrates, antibiotics, hormones, and other harmful additives. But organic, chemical-free, properly fed, ranch-raised meat and dairy are considered a blessing to health in the Bible.
We must not compromise our values to obtain a house full of sacrifices, and end up with guilt, strife, stress, etc. But meat and dairy are good, as the Bible has always taught. The Bible corrects all self-professed experts and scientists on every subject!:
Genesis 18:6 And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal…
7 And Abraham ran unto the herd, and fetcht a calf tender and good, and gave it unto a young man; and he hasted to dress it.
8And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat.
1 Kings 4:22 And Solomon's provision for one day was thirty measures of fine flour, and threescore measures of meal,
23 Ten fat oxen, and twenty oxen out of the pastures, and an hundred sheep, beside harts, and roebucks, and fallowdeer, and fatted fowl.
Buy or raise organic meats, etc., and lay off the white potato french fries, tomato ketchup, black ice-tea filled with cane sugar or aspartame, followed by a cane sugar dessert and a cup of coffee filled with chemical creamer and more sugar! This is what "meat eating" in America has become. It is a ritual. And usually even the meat is highly processed, and filled with chemicals, including MSG, etc.
A healthier alternative does not involve eating "rabbit food" as many imagine. A slow cooked, organic roast, etc., with organic sweet potatoes, lots of organic onions and garlic, and healthy spices, olive oil, and perhaps a dark green, leafy, organic salad - there is nothing "unmanly" about that!
